About The Owner

AKA: Spice Wizard Jim Brown

In 2012 our Spice Wizard discovered the magic of Savory Spice when he was drawn into the Palm Desert store via the aroma. Within six months of his spice encounter, Jim and his wife, Anne, had worked day-and-night to bring Savory to the historic Sellwood neighborhood in Portland, OR.

Jim and Anne are avid dog lovers, coffee drinkers, British murder mystery enthusiasts, and frequent home cooks who share their wonderful culinary creations with their kids, grandchildren, and with the greater Portland community!
